Why is Simple Accounting different?
Simple Accounting Limited is different to most High Street accountants. Most external accountants create their own sets of books, which duplicate those kept by the client.
That is not the way we operate. Instead, we make sure that your database is right and verifiable. We can then use the balances that come out of MYOB and AccountEdge to create your final accounts, VAT records, dividend payments etc. There is no need for any extra sets of books, no need for costly duplication.
For example some accountants will allow their VAT routines to dominate your business. They will add VAT on bad debts on to your VAT Return. They will say you should collect your payments on-time so you avoid cash flow problems and always have enough to pay HM Customs & Excise. If however you apply 'cash accounting' you get automatic relief. If you use annual accounting your accounts will be simpler. We will only have to work out one one return a year rather than four.
