Mamut has reassured us that they will support the MYOB products and will continue product development on the existing range. There will be a 2009 release and compliance updates. The UK MYOB Support Team will still be available to provide telephone and other support for the MYOB products.

We are lobbying hard within MYOB to make sure that your interests are
protected in the long term. We will let you know as soon as we have any

11/02/08 MYOB launches Version 17 for PCs

On 11 February MYOB launched version 17 of its accounting software products. This latest version includes enhancements such as advanced remittance, improved payroll and security. This new version is specifically for PCs. The version 17 for Macs will follow in one month’s time. By splitting the software development between its PC and Mac ranges MYOB will be able add new features more quickly in the future.

Jiten Modhwadia, head of customer relations at MYOB, comments, “MYOB has responded to feedback from customers by offering features that will help small businesses to improve how they engage with clients, enhancing their brand image in a competitive market. There is no reason why small businesses can’t be professional businesses. This software will give them the definitive ‘wow’ factor without that extra investment.”
