Part-time Administrative Assistant for Simple Accounting

Simple Accounting Ltd is a small accountancy firm that supports the accountancy software, MYOB and Mamut AccountEdge. We are based in Hebden Bridge and have clients (mostly small businesses) across the North of England. Our services include providing a tax and end of year accounts service as well as advice and support for MYOB and AccountEdge users.

The Post

 Duties will include:
•    answering telephone
•    typing letters to clients
•    amending documents on the website
•    sending mailouts
•    searching for information on the internet
•    spreadsheet work
•    filing

Hours will initially be eight hours per week, over two afternoons (including Mondays). Salary will be £5 to £6 per hour depending on age and experience. The post is temporary for a probationary period of two months. If this is completed satisfactorily the post will continue for a further 16 months. There is a possibility of increasing the hours later on.

Experience Required

You will need to be computer literate, with a confident telephone manner and good standard of written English. An interest in accountancy or running a small business would be an advantage.
