Accounting Ltd is supporting a new association of MYOB users, the MYOB User Group. The Association has been formed to distribute confirmation codes and also to provide advice for MYOB users. To help pay for the time spent developing the software tool used and supporting users the membership fee will be £35 annually (£50 for professional members). Each applicant has to prove they have a valid MYOB licence to obtain membership. This is to prevent people getting hold of codes inappropriately. Their intent is not to rip off MYOB: simply for users to be able to continue to use what we have paid for.
Although MYOB (Australia) has recently said they will continue to confirm MYOB datafiles - we are uncertain how long this will carry on. Also some users are already having problems obtaining manual codes from Mamut. The User Group will provide support and security for users at this difficult and uncertain time.
