MYOB Version 11

Version 11 was the last version of MYOB which did not require file reconfirmations.

One option for existing MYOB users is to go back to MYOB Version 11.  This was the last version of MYOB which did not contain Digital Rights Management (DRM) - the process that requires file reconfirmations.

MYOB version 11 is eight years old. However for many businesses it can provide a good software solution that is not vulnerable to the future uncertainty of DRM. The main difference to later MYOB versions is very limited stock control. We have successfully helped many smaller businesses revert back to this software.

Try MYOB Version 11 for Free

As long as you already have an MYOB licence (albeit for a later version) – and can provide us with evidence of it, we will send you a CD for MYOB Version 11 to try out for free. Evidence of your licence allows us to prove to Mamut that we have acted with honour as their consultant in this difficult situation.

Setting up your Datafile

In order to be able to use the MYOB Version 11, you will need a datafile – this is the file in which you put all your company data and your accounts data.  You cannot set this up yourself because for Version 11 the datafile was licensed (rather than the software). We can provide you with a useable datafile for £100 (+VAT). You would need to enter company details and set up accounts codes yourself.

Alternatively we can create a template datafile for you by importing your current data. It usually takes us a day or two to put in your company details and set up accounts codes for you. The price will depend on the complexity of your current datafile. This is best done after your year end. Just contact us to give you an estimate if you would like us to help you with this.
