Simple Accounting's Review of MYOB Alternatives

In 2008 Mamut bought MYOB UK. They decided to offer an upgrade for MYOB Mac users but not for PCs. They also told users they would turn off file reconfirmations at the end of 2011. At the last hour (December 7 2011) this threat seems to have been reversed. However it is unlikely that Mamut will provide much (if any) support for MYOB users in the future. At Simple Accounting Ltd we decided to review alternative Accounting Software to try and find other long-term solutions for users to replace MYOB. 

Our review criteria are objective and are mainly based on the points that are uniquely successful about MYOB.  The ease of use is derived from certain design features that are simply not reproduced in other software.  You can see our criteria here: Review Criteria
